Our love story began in February 2012, when two people who each had their own life but had been searching for something to make them whole. We were both at a point where life had already taught us lessons, where we'd already known the taste of both joy and heartache. And yet, when we found each other, it felt like a new beginning.
Over the past thirteen years, we’ve built a life together that’s more than just a collection of moments—it’s a story of resilience, love, and growth. We’ve learned to trust each other and to be there not just in the good times but especially when the going gets tough.
Together, we've woven a beautiful, blended family. Four incredible children, each one unique, each one adding their own colour to our world. They’ve shaped us, challenged us, and reminded us every day of the beautiful chaos that is family. Watching them grow, seeing them thrive and sometimes stumble, has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.
We’ve had our hurdles—who hasn’t? But I think what makes our love story different is how we’ve always faced them. We’ve not run from the hard things but confront them with determination to get to the other side. We’ve learnt that love isn’t just a feeling. It’s a choice. It’s showing up, even when the days are hard or the challenges seem endless.
This has built something that’s bigger than ourselves. It’s the life we’ve created together—the family, the memories, the shared adventures, and yes, even the bumps along the way that have only made us stronger. We've celebrated milestones, big and small, and made ordinary days extraordinary with our connection, our laughter and our unwavering support.
So here we are, thirteen and a half years later, looking back on everything we've shared and knowing there’s still so much more to come.
And in that, we know we have everything we’ll ever need and can’t wait to have you celebrate the start of our next chapter!!
